Photo Engraving with New Features: 1-Touch Laser Photo Software by Versa LASER™
The advent of laser cutting technology has revolutionized the industrial and business world by leaps and bounds, brought new and welcome changes to manufacturing methods, and ushered in a new era of high-speed customization of materials. This revolution has raised both the standards of production quality and the exposure of affordable quality machines in the industrial, manufacturing, and electronics world. From the latest automobile parts manufacturing to custom-engraved personal media players, lasers have made a positive impact to the bottom line of many businesses. One significant development is a laser system produced by Universal Laser Systems, who has introduced a laser cutting device that is far better at achieving a perfect cut than any mechanical cutting methods. This technological advancement has made things easier for professionals and hobbyists who prefer laser cutting over mechanical techniques, as it has better finish quality and more precise tolerances in its final output.
Another development that originated from laser technology includes VersaLASER's 1-Touch Laser Photo™ software, which allows consumers to engrave their photos effectively without the need to use any third-party software for editing the photograph. This efficient and effective software saves a lot of time and hard work while preparing your photographic source and their unique system helps you engrave your or your client's photos on a wide variety of materials using your existing computers.
The materials on which VersaLASER's 1-Touch Laser Photo software can work include leather, anodized aluminum, coated metal, plastic, acrylic, marble, tile, and many other surfaces. Depending on the photo and material used, the photo engraving process can also be enhanced or customized (in terms of size and appearance), using the rotation, cropping, and mirror tools – right in the software's straightforward interface.
One technique that can be very helpful in the use of the 1 Touch Laser Photo software is an instance where, for example, you would like to remove the background in a picture. You can easily perform this action with the help of the 1-Touch software tool, simply reclaiming the background field to a single color for easy interpretation. Or perhaps you would like a reverse image of the photograph you're using – you can accomplish this easily by using the technique of mirroring, built right into the software. These photo and image modification techniques have many interesting features, which can give you various options and can be used in close combination with other graphic software programs to enhance the overall effect of the photograph, thus producing an exceptional image on the material of your choice!
The introduction of Universal Laser Systems' VersaLASER laser solution assists you in solving your manufacturing, cutting, engraving, and etching challenges by simplifying the software necessary to perfectly transfer an image onto plastic, metal, wood, or fabric. Using the examples of industrial laser applications available through Universal Laser Systems, the VersaLASER product line is committed to being the easiest-to-use system available today. From powerful, thoughtful, and intuitive image-processing products to the finest in laser engraving, cutting, etching, and marking machines, your needs are easily met with the VersaLASER line of desktop laser systems.

The Killers' "All These Things That I've Done" video -- isn't there another one with the same theme?
I'm trying REALLY hard to remember a music video with The Killers in those same cowboy outfits. (video here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dXkWW_q_OTM&feature=channel ) I searched Universal Music's videos and didn't find it, so it could be from a different band (is the video a parody/reference to something?). All I can remember is "orange," the video was set in a desert, and that there were some futuristic aspects to it (either techo-ish parts of the song, or...laser-guns and such...)
It's driving me crazy. I wish I could give more information, but that's all I remember.
somebody told me - the killers
also theeir christmas song ''don't shoot me santa'' was filmed in a desert (really funnny!!)
