can i lock my megane using the key from the key card ? and will i be able to open it again ?
the starter motor has gone therefor i cannot use the remote central locking. it will be sitting outside my house and the dashboard is still lit up and i dont really fancy it getting stolen.
its coming up on the dashboard electrical fault and the car itself is not starting ( it will on a bump start ). the keypad won't lock the doors.

hi the key will only work passgener side door lock and unlock will not work central locking why does central locking on card not work starter fault should not cause that ? if starter faulty remove main feed to it careful not to touch earth or disconnect battery then taped up end of main feed to starter reconnect battery and lock car. also have you tried pressing start button twice with card not in reader then tried locking car ? or just remove battery to stop car getting stolen sorry this will not stop them getting in to car to pinch whats inside
