How to fix Laser Printer thats printing faded printouts?

-I bought 2 remanufactured black toner cartridges online
-installed one of them, it was printing fine (for about 2 weeks)
-then started printing pages that were partially faded but still visible (for about 1 week)
-now I can barely see anything that it prints in black. Color is printing fine with no problems

Well, it's most probably bad toner cartridges since they're remanufactured and not original manufacturer or new ones, but there is another possibility to verify first.

Did you remove the toner cartridge sealing tape from them when you installed them?

There is usually a plastic tab with a long strip of sealing tape attached, or just a piece of sealing tape hanging out of the cartridge (sometimes it's just a solid platic shield that is pulled out), that needs to be removed completely to allow the toner in the toner hopper to reach the mag roller & drum surface. Often times there's just enough toner on the rollers to print a little, but then it's all used up and starts printing light until that sealing tape is removed.

If you did remove the sealing tape and you still have this problem, then I'd get in contact with the seller where you purchased the cartridges from to get them replaced or refunded.

I need Toshiba Satellite A105 touch pad help. I need to know how to program #1,2 and 3 keys on the touchpad.?

On the Toshiba Satelllite A-105-S4114 the touchpad has programed keys on it. One to scroll, shoot you to your emailing sysytem, print and check/pull up your wireless connection. THEN there are touch buttons labeled "1, 2 and 3" which you the user can program to do whatever you want. How do you do that. I need easy-to-follow, step by step instructions. I have been wanting to program them for ages and I just do not know how! Please HELP!
Im sorry. I made a mistake by saying "touch pad" it is actually called the "Dual Mode Pad" (only on Satellite A105-S4114 notebooks) and on the "Dual Mode Pad" there are buttons called the "Virtual Buttons". There are 6. 3 at the top and 3 at the bottom. I am refering to the 3 at the bottom. How do you program these buttons?

Click the Toshiba Button Control icon in the Optimize tab of Toshiba Assist.

Select the button whose function is to be customized.

Make the desired selections.

Click Apply, then click OK.

what is the difference between high yield toner and drum cartridge?

I want to buy a printer for college and I am thinking about Brother HL 2140. It seems like a good price for a laser printer, but the ink cartridge seems kind of expensive. I wonder what others think about this printer as well as the cost of ink cartridge? Please help.

The drum unit is the part of the printer that prints the toner onto the paper. this unit lasts for 12000 or more pages so you may get through college without having to replace it and since it costs almost as much as the printer itself you may just decide at that point to buy a new printer instead of replacing the drum unit.

Home Printing Machines

Home printing machines are available on the market today in many sizes, prices and capacities. Many different forms of printing can be done at home. I have a printer/copier/fax machine and it's out of ink, can I still make copies?

Yes you can, but not until you have replaced or refilled the ink cartridges. The ink cartridges are usually easy to replace. Mine simply click out, then click the new ones in. I have a Lexmark printer.
