However the medical transcription industry can breathe easy for a few generations as the demand for medical transcription professionals is on the increase. One can choose to take up medical transcription as a career and get a job easily. Using the best of technologies and tools, transcription professionals can be more productive, earn more and deliver a more perfect transcript.

I am a medical transcriptionist; therefore how can I get my Infinity foot pedal to work with Express Scribe?

Express Scribe downloads my dictation, but when I try to open it, I get the message "install audio compression manager codecs. I have looked for the Control Port on the Devices tab of hardware settings, but I don't see anything that says "Control Port" Please help ASAP....Janie

Hi it may be possible that your foot pedal is not compatible with Express Scribe - not all pedals are. Have you gone to settings and control to install the foot pedal using the wizard? I'm sure you have. You can contact support through the www.nch.com.au website for assistance as I'm sure that's where you downloaded Express Scribe from. Sorry I can't be of further help.
